Weigh in on the proposed bus route between the Cape & Prov., RI
Local transportation company seeks your input regarding the proposed bus route between Cape Cod and Providence, RI
Cape Destinations: the future home of the Cape and Providence Express Bus Line
Like many of you, we first heard about the idea of a bus route between the Cape and Providence through an article in the Cape Cod Times. A subsequent article appeared in the Harwich Oracle on June 7, 2006. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of John Flanagan, David Smith, and all of the members of the Falmouth Transportation Committee the concept of affordable and reliable transportation is coming closer to reality.
We have been very encouraged by the public response since the article announcing our interest in operating this route. Everyone agrees that the service is needed. Now the challenge is how to get it done! We are researching all of the regulations, plotting routes, and deciding timetables.
We feel the next critical step is to get public input. So PLEASE, visit our site often to check for updates and share your ideas. We encourage you to complete our survey. If you would also like to receive our newsletter please provide us with your email address.
Thanks for your support!
