Chatham's St. Christopher's offers church history on DVD
A Journey in Faith, the video profile of the creation, history and people of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Chatham, will soon be available for purchase as a DVD, according to Bill Gould, who conceived, wrote, directed and produced the project.
Gould, working with Chatham videographer Danni Krash, interviewed scores of people for the documentary, including a few national and Episcopal celebrities like ABC News correspondent James Wooten and Bishop Thomas Shaw, head of the Diocese of Massachusetts.
Former St. Christopher’s rectors The Rev. Carl Carlozzi and The Rev. Whitney Burr are featured, as are longtime residents Fred Bearse and Richard Batchelder.
Gould and Krash edited hours of tapes into a 48-minute warm and revealing look at the church. Cost of the DVDs will be $25 each, with all proceeds going to St. Christopher's.
To reserve a copy, contact the church office at (508) 945-2832.
