Newest Addition to Green Peace Fleet to Tour Cape & Islands

Greenpeace offers tours of sailboat "Witness" as it continues its clean energy fight

Bio-diesel truck, "Rolling Sunlight" compliments boat tours

Greenpeace will bring the newest member of its fleet and offer behind the scene tours of the 44-foot long sailboat, Witness, as she tours the Cape and Islands this summer. Accompanying the Witness, the Rolling Sunlight, Greenpeaceâ??s bio-diesel truck, will also create solar-generated refreshments and run a short film at dockside events.

The tour will highlight the impacts of global warming and discuss real world experience with offshore wind projects.

WHO: Greenpeace climate experts, staff and supporters

WHEN and WHERE:
Aug 19 -20,11-5 p.m.
Marthaâ??s Vineyard, Vineyard Haven, Black Dog Wharf

Aug 21-22,11-5 p.m.
Woods Hole, ship will be at anchor. Inflatable boats will transport visitors from the Town Ramp and Dock on Albatross Street next to NMFS Aquarium to the vessel.

Aug 24 -25, 11-5 p.m.
Nantucket, Boat Basin Marina, Straight Wharf (Rolling Sunlight will not be available)

Aug 26, 5-7:30 p.m. and Aug 27-28, 11-5 p.m.
Hyannis, ship will be at anchor. Inflatable boats will transport visitors from the Ocean Street Town Docks to the vessel.

Sept 1-2, 11-5 p.m. and Sept 3, 11-4 p.m.
Provincetown, MacMillian Pier

Sept 4, 10-3 p.m.
Hyannis, Location (TBA)
