Plymouth Independent Film Festival Seeks Volunteers
Volunteers needed for PIFF '07
PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Independent Film Festival (PIFF ‘07) is back, bigger and better than ever, and in need of volunteers.
If you volunteered last year you already know the fun and excitement of meeting fellow film buffs, learning about creating film first hand, never knowing whom you may run into next, getting into events for free and, as a bonus, adding something unique to your resume.
The call for volunteers goes out this week for the first PIFF ’07 event, a Halloween Movie Masquerade Benefit, taking place at Plimoth Plantation on October 28, from 6 to midnight. Volunteers are needed to take tickets, provide information, work in the screening rooms, help judge the costume contest, and more.
Younger children who come to the 6:00 reception with parents to enjoy the music and show off their costumes will need teenage volunteers with good babysitting skills to guide them and parents to the door and away from the six horror films on tap for the evening, to receive their goodie bags.
Already booked for the 28th? Not a problem. PIFF ’07 has exciting benefits and parties planned throughout the year leading up to this summer’s four day film festival to be held July 19 through July 22, 2007 and volunteers will be needed year ‘round.
Get your name on PIFF ‘07's volunteer database today by calling Leslie at 508-746-9001 or Arie at 508-958-3338 or e-mailing Arie at arie@plyfilmfest.org.
Don’t miss the fun. Join PIFF ’07 today.
