Capewide volunteers needed for ASGCC!

The AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod needs volunteers for a variety of duties
More than 300 volunteers serve the ASGCC with over 10,000 hours of vital services!

V

olunteers are the backbone of the ASGCC. They are the reason we have grown and warmly weathered over two decades of continuous service to the diverse communities of Cape Cod. More than 300 hundred volunteers serve the ASGCC with over 10,000 hours of vital service annually by assisting and helping to implement our various client programs and nonprofit mission. We are extremely grateful for their generosity. Their loyal commitment truly shows that Cape Cod continues to care in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

New and talented volunteers, warm in heart and spirit, are always needed and valued from both the ASGCC Hyannis and Provincetown offices.

Here?s just a few examples of volunteering opportunities:

  • Provide respite care for a caregiver
  • Cook for Local Flavor, our Tuesday night community dinner
  • Grocery shop for someone homebound
  • Pick-up prescriptions or run an errand for a client
  • Join an event committee: Auction, Chef?s Table, Cabaret, and more
  • Answer phones, greet clients & assist with mailings/office duties (Provincetown office)
  • Deliver meals?weekday lunches - Mon-Fri 11:30-Noon, Provincetown-North Truro
