Brewster Ladies' Library partners with Barnes & Noble during Nat'l Library Week
Two day event planned in April to celebrate National Library Week
BREWSTER-The Massachusetts Regional Library Systems (MLRS), Massachusetts Library Association (MLA), Massachusetts School Library Association (MSLA), the Brewster Ladies’ Library, and Barnes & Noble (B&N) have
teamed up for a two-day event April 20-21, 2007 to celebrate National Library Week. The event, Catch the Beat for Your Library at Barnes & Noble, will raise much-needed funding for Summer Reading Programs in Massachusetts. Barnes & Noble will donate 15% of every sale from every customer who presents a bookfair voucher at any Massachusetts Barnes and Noble Store on those two days.
Pick up a copy of a voucher at the Brewster Ladies’ Library, other local Brewster businesses and schools, or at the special Catch the Beat for Your Library web site at here and bring it with you to a Barnes & Noble on April 20-21 to support our local Summer Reading Program with your purchases of books, CDS, DVDs, café items, or toys. Coupons are also available at the cash register at Barnes & Noble, so just remember to ask for one and indicate your support for the Brewster Ladies’ Library. The library whose patrons bring in the most vouchers will receive an additional $500 gift card to purchase materials.
Claire Gradone, Head of Youth Services at the Brewster Ladies Library, will be participating in a special story time on April 20th at 4pm at the Hyannis Barnes & Noble. Be sure to stop by and check out the special programs in honor of National Library Week and support the Brewster Ladies’ Library!
The Hyannis Barnes & Noble is located in the Cape Cod Mall on Route 132. The Brewster Ladies' Library is located at 1822 Route 6A in Brewster. Visit the library's website here or call 508-896-3913.
