Clean Power Now to hold open house in Hyannis
Open house planned to celebrate the office's move to a new location
HYANNIS - Clean Power Now (CPN) invites the public to an open house, Thursday June 28, 2007 from 12pm-4pm. The organization is hosting the open house to celebrate moving to their new Main Street location in Hyannis directly across from the Kennedy Studio in the Hyannis Oaks Courtyard.
Cape Wind co-author, Wendy Williams, will be on hand to sign copies of her new book. Books will be available at the open house for $27.
CPN will be raffling off some great prizes such as a desktop wind turbine, gift certificates from local shops and eateries, as well as an autographed Cape Wind book.
While celebrating, you will have an opportunity to TAKE ACTION by participating in CPN's postcard campaign targeting Congressman Markey, the chair of a special Congressional committee on energy independence and global warming. Your efforts will help bring us closer to our goal of hand delivering 25,000 signed postcards when Congress reconvenes in the fall.
Light refreshments will also be available.
If you cannot make the open house but would like to participate in either the raffle or the postcard campaign send an email here.
The new office is located at 569 Main Street, Suite 9, Hyannis, MA.
