Special Tickets Available for HJT "Rock n Roll Tonight" Concert
Funds raised will support the continued efforts of the Friends of the Harwich Cultural Exchange Centers, Inc.
HARWICH - The Friends of the Harwich Cultural Exchange Centers, Inc. are offering a special ticket invitation to the Harwich Junior Theatre's August 31st, 8pm performance of the popular "Rock n Roll Tonight" Concert. "Rock n Roll Tonight" was created, directed and choreographed by Terry Norgeot with musical direction by Bob Wilder.
The $30 ticket includes the concert and an after-show intimate gathering at the theater to enjoy a picnic spread of food delights, beverages and wine.
This offering is in collaboration with the Friends of the Harwich Cultural Exchange Centers, Inc., (CEC), a non-profit organization formed to raise awareness about the cultural center project to protect and renovate two old buildings in town to continue cultural activities such as the HJT rehearsal and classroom space. Funds raised would be used toward supporting this effort.
The Cultural Center has been offering additional activities since April such as Teen Music and Art Shows, Studio Art Workshops and an Artist Show, Author Panels, 'The Notables' chorale performance, a John Dirac Solo Guitar Concert, HJT open rehearsal, a "Write to Publish" writers' workshop series, an interactive health workshop, and a presentation on global warming, among other events coming up in the fall.
This show is a knock-out complete "rock n roll" concert with a full band, with most of the performers playing their own musical instruments along with the band. Don't miss an opportunity to keep right on "rockin' n' rollin' after the show by supporting an important cause while extending your theater experience.
A big thank you is expressed to Harwich Junior Theatre for support of the cultural centers project.
Cut-off date for purchase of the ticket fundraiser package is August 27. Contact the following members of the Friends of the CEC to arrange to get your ticket: Barbara Johnson, 508-430-9823; John Prophet, 508-430-7850; Jack Brown, 508-432-5956.
