Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Announces Fall 2007 Grant Deadline
Funding Available for Artists and Cultural Organizations
Application deadline is Monday, October 1, 2007
CENTERVILLE - The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC), the designated local arts agency for Barnstable County, is pleased to announce its next grant cycle. Applications are now available for the AFCC fall grants cycle, which has a deadline of Monday, October 1.
The AFCC will hold a grants information workshop for interested applicants on Monday, September 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the AFCC offices in Centerville. Reservations are limited and space may be reserved by calling the AFCC at 508-362-0066 or emailing info@artsfoundation.org no later than Friday, September 7. First time applicants are strongly urged to attend this informational workshop.
The AFCC Grants Program provides cash awards to local artists and cultural organizations that are engaged in projects that help create a strong, stable, and diverse arts and culture industry on Cape Cod, and contribute positively to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region. Preference is given to specific program initiatives, particularly those enhancing the arts education of learners of all ages, and to collaborative efforts within the arts community.
The AFCC distributed $61,750 in grants to 37 individual artists and cultural organizations in the past 12 months. Grant funds are made possible by the proceeds of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s annual TD Banknorth Pops by the Sea concert.
Guidelines and application materials are available on the AFCC web site www.artsfoundation.org or by calling 508-362-0066.
