CHAMP Homes Moves Recycling Donation Center to 82 School Street, Hyannis
HYANNIS -- CHAMP Homes is moving its Recycling Donation Center to 82 School Street, Hyannis. This move will enable the CHAMP Homes’ residents and other volunteers to be able to work where they live. CHAMP Homes offers pick-up larger amounts of deposit beverage containers from local area hotels, restaurants, churches or organizations by appointment.
The Recycling Donation Center can only take cans, plastic bottles and glass with Massachusetts $.05 redemption. Everybody is encouraged to organize recycling drives within their local churches, work or organization and bring redeemable cans and bottles to 82 School Street and water bottles, non-deposit plastics and milk jugs, wine bottles and other glass to their local transfer station for recycling.
Through the efforts of CHAMP Homes, Cape Cod residents are now keeping $0.0725 cents per can or recyclable bottle on Cape Cod, instead of burying, burning or throwing away thousands of recyclables every year. The CHAMP Homes recycling center offers a mix of recycling, helping the environment, raising money and creating jobs.
CHAMP Homes is always looking for additional volunteers who are willing to spend a few hours a week helping to organize cans, plastics and glass bottles at the Recycling Donation Center.
Paul Hebert, Founder and CEO, is also available to speak on redemption of deposit containers and other recycling efforts. Please contact: Paul Hebert, CHAMP Homes/Housing for All, 82 School Street, Hyannis, MA 02601, (508) 771-0885 or www.champhouse.org.
