YMCA Cape Cod Offers New Classes & Programs for Fall II Session
Adult Flex Schedule and Biddy Basketball and Pre-Ballet for kids among offerings
WEST BARNSTABLE -- Taking fitness classes at the YMCA Cape Cod just got a lot easier. The non-profit organization has successfully implemented a new FLEX Schedule which allows members and non-members to attend a variety of group fitness and aquatics classes at days and times that are convenient to their own personal schedule. YMCA Fitness Director Diane Francis stated, " the FLEX program is making life a lot easier for people with busy schedules to do their workouts."
The Y's Fall II session runs from October 29 to December 22, 2007. Also this session are a number of new classes for kids, including Pre-Ballet for 4 & 5 year olds which is instructed by Atlantic Coast Dance Academy; Biddy Basketball for 3 - 5 year olds; Youth/Teen Strength Training which is ideal to help teens stay in shape or get in shape for an upcoming school sport. Also child care openings are now available in child care centers in Sandwich, Harwich and West Barnstable.
The YMCA Cape Cod is a safe place that offers healthy and fun classes and programs for all ages regardless of religious or ethnic background. Financial assistance is available.
