Cape Cod Division of American Heart Assoc. Welcomes New Board Members
The American Heart Association warmly welcomes Judie Selleck of Heritage Museum & Gardens, Jacqueline Lane, Jennifer Ladner MD, Adrienne Baume and Go Red For Women Love Your Heart Luncheon Co-Chair Susan Miller Association’s Cape Cod Division Board of Directors.
These new members join tenured members including Board Chair Pauline Philie of Cape Cod Hospital, Barbara Foley, Crystal Jolie, Edward Perper MD, Joey Edwards MD, Lawrence McAuliffe MD, Susan Pierson MD, Ed McDonald Jr., Ed Sinofsky, Joanne Wiseman and Mary C. Cotoia.
The goal of the Cape Cod Division Board of Directors is to help the American Heart Association to raise awareness of the devastating effects of cardiovascular disease and stroke on Cape Cod.
“At the end of the day, our goal is to help our community realize they can help themselves and experience improved heart health through lifestyle change,” stated Pauline Philie, the Cape Division’s Board Chair.

Board members play an active role through planning and participation at local annual events including the upcoming Go Red For Women Love Your Heart Luncheon kickoff preview event scheduled to take place at Journey Day Spa on November 5, the upcoming Go Red For Women Love Your Heart Luncheon on February 13, 2008 and the Cape Cod Start! Heart Walk scheduled to take place simultaneously at three locations: Sandwich, Hyannis, and Provincetown on April 27, 2008.
The activity of the local board complements the American Heart Association’s national goal to reduce the incidence of coronary heart disease, stroke and risk by 25 percent by 2010 as heart disease and stroke are our nation’s No. 1 and No.3 killers.
