Cape Cod Area League of Women Voters to Hold Forum on Affordable Housing
The Cape Cod League of Women Voters will present a forum on affordable housing at the Harwich Community Center on Saturday, January 19th at 9:30 a.m.
This in-depth discussion, “What’s Happening in Our Backyard?” is open to the public and will address:
- What are the current issues?
- What are the Feds doing? The Commonwealth?
- What approaches have worked, or are working?
- What’s happening to the homeless?
- What effect will the credit crunch have?
Discussing these problems will be:
- Paul Ruchinskas, Affordable Housing Specialist, Cape Cod Commission
- Elizabeth Bridgewater, Executive Director, Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corporation
- Jill Scalise, Director of Case Management, Overnights of Hospitality
