Woods Hole Handworks Seeks New Artists
Artists' co-operative gallery, founded in 1981, seeks additional artists to exhibit and sell their work
WOODS HOLE - Woods Hole Handworks, an Artists? co-operative gallery, founded in 1981, is seeking additional artists to exhibit and sell their work.
Now in it's 27th year, the gallery is accepting applications for new members through Sunday, February 24, 2008. Handworks is opened from early May through Columbus Day in October. All members share in the responsibilities of running the gallery including working hours when the shop is opened. The current roster of 13 artists includes work in ceramics, textiles, painting, prints, photography, and jewelry.
Handworks continues to maintain a reputation for high quality craftsmanship and design.
Handworks is located in one of the Cape's most picturesque settings; by the drawbridge on Eel Pond at dock level of the Woods Hole Community Hall.
