Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill Announces Spring Schedule
Spring lineup includes classes, workshops, classes for kids and more
Spring classes begin in March
Castle Hill's lineup of Spring classes includes a selection of classes in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and poetry.
Painting classes feature Encaustics with Carol Odell, Painting the Portrait with Tom Hebert, and Painting: Color and Morewith Denny Camino. Printmaking classes include Monoprint and Drypointwith Vicky Tomayko, and Alternative Approaches to Printmakingwith Victoria Jutras Kniering.
Handmade Brushes with Ceramic Handleswith Glenn Grishkoff, Collage in a Box with Amy Heller, Figure in Claywith Heather Blume, and Relief in Claywith Joyce Johnson are Castle Hill's featured sculpture classes.
Classes in ceramics include Raku Firing with Diane Heart, Intermediate Throwingwith Paul Wisotzky, and Throwing for Wood Firingwith Keith Kreeger.
Poetry workshops with Keith Althaus and June Beisch are being offered, as well as a class called Voice and Speechwith Mark Enright.

KID'S WORKSHOPS
Friday Afternoon Kids' Classes are Back this Spring
April 4, 11, & 18 - Bold and Bright Paper Cut Outs! Eve Aspinwall will teach a collage class based on the work of Matisse. Kids will create designs using bold, bright, and beautiful colored papers.
May 2, 9, & 16 - Handbuilding Ceramics- Caitlin Nesbit will teach kids techniques for making both expressive sculptures and functional pots out of clay.
All classes meet from 3:15 to 5pm, and cost $60 for 3 sessions. Financial aid is available. More info and register online here.
