American Red Cross Offers Babysitting Classes in Hyannis in Mar & Apr
American Red Cross offers classes for Babysitters on March 22 or April 26, 2008
HYANNIS - The American Red Cross, Cape Cod and Islands Chapter, offers a class for Babysitters on March 22nd , or April 26th, 2008 at the Chapter House on 286 South Street in Hyannis.
The 6 hour course runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. including a lunch break. It is designed for 6th to 9th graders, ages 11 to 15, interested in becoming a responsible Babysitter. The participants will learn Babysitting responsibilities, characteristics of children, supervising and playing with children, basic care such as feeding and changing, accident prevention, emergency action and First Aid. Cost of the course is $45. All participants will receive a reference handbook and a first aid kit.
Successful participants will receive a Babysitter's Course completion certificate that does not expire.
