A Baby Shower to Benefit A Baby Center in Hyannis

SANDWICH - The Sandwich Women’s Club will be throwing a “baby shower” to benefit A Baby Center ( www.ababycenter.org ) of Hyannis, on Monday, April 14th, 7:00 pm at the Lakewood Hills Clubhouse on Kiah’s Way.

We are inviting the community to join us for this event and stay for our general business meeting.  Mary Pat Piersons, Director of A Baby Center, will be present to discuss their organization and its needs.  The SWC plans on "showering" the center with new and gently used gifts to bring back to the center to benefit all Cape mothers in need.

If you have been wanting to help the community but don't have the time, now's your chance!

You are encouraged to either purchase new items or donate your own used items to benefit this wonderful center.  No need to wrap your donations or gifts.

Items needed:

New:    Diapers (all sizes)-pull ups, baby wipes, baby wash, lotion, diaper rash cream, crib mattresses, toddler underwear, socks, pacifiers, sippy cups and bottles. 

New or Used:   Gently used clothing that is in good condition (up to size 5) would be appreciated.  Toddler size shoes, wash cloths, infant hooded towels, bedding (crib sheets and pads).

They would love baby equipment (single or double strollers, high chairs, potty seats) but they would prefer no toys at this time.

PLEASE come to this party and celebrate with us! We would be thrilled to have you. Bring one item….or donate as much as you can from your own home!
