Meals on Wheels - Wellfleet & Truro Volunteer Drivers Needed!

WELLFLEET - Did you know that Elder Services delivered over 171,000 Meals on Wheels in Barnstable County last year?  They also served over 29,000 meals in Senior Dining sites.  Meals on Wheels & Senior Dining are the cornerstones for the Elder Services Nutrition Program. 

Elder services delivered over 171,000 meals in Barnstable County last year and over 29,000 in senior dining sites.

They staff fifteen Meals on Wheels sites and seventeen Senior Dining sites throughout the Cape & Islands, including the Wellfleet Senior Center. 

Meals on Wheels assists homebound people aged 60+ who are unable to prepare a meal & do not have someone who can prepare a meal for them. 

Volunteer drivers pick up the meals at the Wellfleet Senior Center and deliver them in Wellfleet or Truro between 10am and 11:30am, Monday–Friday.
