Christo's Gates of Cape Cod?
A Christo's Cape Cod creation might help tourism
By Jay Brooks
A recent Question of the Week was: Christo & Jeanne-Claude's "Gates" in NYC are a hit! What should they do on the Cape? This poll received the second highest number of voters as any we have run.
The reader response was so vigorous it led us to ask our art department to show us what the various vistas might look like if Christo "gated" them.
Here are the Cape Cod "gated" results of our reader's picks:

In our poll the Eastham Windmill Green got a meager 4% of the votes...

... while Brewster's Herring Run received 20%.

The Provincetown zoomed into second place with an aggregate 26%:
11% said cover the monument while 15% suggested covering the whole town,
but the easy winner was.......

Nantucket Sound with over half the votes cast by our readers.

The Bourne Bridge wasn't in our poll, but it cried out for "gating"
