This season, there are several farmers' markets scheduled throughout the Cape. Some have already started, some will be starting soon, and all run weekly through the end of the summer. Curious about what's available (and freshest) during the season? Check out the Mass DAR's market buying guide here.

The Buzzards Bay Farmers' Market

(near the Cape Cod Canal Region Area Chamber of Commerce)

Fridays from 10am-2pm, July 11 through October 31, 2008.

The Falmouth Farmers' Market
Peg Noonan Park
Main Street
Falmouth Village
Thursdays from 12pm-6pm, June 19 through September 3, 2008.
Vegetables, fruit, eggs, cheese, baked goods, plants and other offerings. In July and August the market will sponsor four children's classes on horticulture, cooking and locally-produced foods. Questions? Email here.

Wednesdays from 8am-12pm, June 11 through September 3, 2008.
The weekly market will offer the public the opportunity to purchase Cape Cod grown vegetables, fruits, herbs and cut flowers, live lobsters, fresh baked goods, honey, bee pollen, hand-crafted local foods and organic healthcare products.
