Cape & Islands Chapter of the Red Cross Organizes First Pet First Aid Class
Pet First Aid Class to be held June 28th
HYANNIS -- American Red Cross, Cape Cod and Islands Chapter will be offering a Pet First Aid class on Saturday June 28, 2008 from 1:00 pm-4:30 pm. The course will be held at the Chapter house at 286 South Street, Hyannis MA 20601.
Many people all over the Cape and Islands own pets, but do they know what to do in the case of a (pet) emergency? The American Red Cross would like to create awareness and prepare dog and cat owners for potential pet emergencies. The course provides valuable information on how to keep pets safe and how to act with confidence during an emergency.
The cost of the class is $45. This includes the class instruction as well as a Dog or Cat First Aid textbook, written by the American Red Cross and the Humane Society of the United States.
Class size is limited and for best results, please leave your dog or cat at home.
Our pets love and care for us therefore, it is important that we learn how to care for them and keep them safe and healthy.
To register for the class call the Cape Cod and Islands Chapter, American Red Cross at (508) 775-1540 or go online to the website, www.capecodandislandsredcross.org or write to 286 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601.
