16th Annual Cape Cod Community College Open Tennis Tournament Registration Taking Place
WEST BARNSTABLE -- Registration is underway for the annual Cape Cod Community College Open Tennis Tournament scheduled July 9 to 20 on the campus courts in West Barnstable.
Singles and doubles competition are available in all junior and adult age divisions from under 10 to 70 plus. Singles matches will be played July 9 to July 13 and doubles matches are played July 16 to July 20. The draw closes for singles entries on July 3 and for doubles entries on July 11.
Registration forms are available at area health and tennis clubs on Cape Cod, by calling the CCCC Educational Foundation office at 508-362-2131 ex 4870, or can be downloaded on-line at www.ccccfoundation.org and click on tennis tournament link.
The Tournament Director is Barnstable High School boys tennis coach Dick Norman. Prizes are awarded to champions and finalists. All players receive a T-shirt and an invitation to a reception on Friday, July 18. Competition is single elimination.
Singles entry fees are $30 for adults and $20 for juniors. Doubles entry fees are $48 per adult team, $28 per junior team.
Proceeds benefit the CCCC Educational Foundation’s efforts to support student scholarships, new resources in the Wilkens Library, and faculty grants for program development and pilot projects.
