Environmental Attorney Matthew Pawa Keynote Speaker at Clean Power Now Annual Meeting on August 14 in Hyannis
Cape Air President and CEO, Dan Wolf, honored as Distinguished Community Leader
HYANNIS - Dan Wolf, Jim Gordon and environmental attorney Matthew Pawa will attend the 5th Clean Power Now Annual Meeting being held on August 14th from 6pm to 8pm at the Hyannis Golf Course Function Room on Route 132 in Hyannis.
The annual meeting will consist of a short business meeting, the key note speaker address by attorney Matthew Pawa and an awards ceremony. Clean Power Now will present Dan Wolf, President and CEO of Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines, with the 2008 CPN Distinguished Community Leader Award. Cape Wind President Jim Gordon is expected to give a brief update on the project.
Clean Power Now's Annual Meeting is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served with a cash bar.

About the Keynote Speaker: Attorney Matthew Pawa from Newton is a litigation attorney who has represented governments, non-profit groups, citizens and small businesses in a wide range of environmental cases. He developed the July 2004 global warming case against five major power companies that emit large quantities of greenhouse gases. He is currently representing national NGO's as intervenors in the auto industry suit against California's automobile greenhouse gas laws.
