Outer Cape Chorale seeks new members--come sing the Beatles!

The Outer Cape Chorale invites everyone who likes to sing to Come Sing the Music of The Beatles with Us!

Provincetown's 100-voice community chorus, led by conductor Jon Arterton, is looking for new members.

We'll be rehearsing for our December 12-14 concerts when we’ll be performing a concert called IMAGINE: The Music of the Beatles. It will feature a wide variety of choral arrangements of classic Beatle’s hits, as well as a 20-minute classical piece by Paul McCartney called the Liverpool Oratorio Choral Suite.

IMAGINE: The Music of the Beatles will be performed December 12 & 13 at 7pm at the UU Meeting House on Commercial Street in Provincetown and December 14 at 3pm at the Nauset Regional Middle School on Route 28 in Orleans. All concerts are free!

There are no auditions, but some ability to read musical scores is appreciated. Practice CDs will be given out.

Members are expected to contribute $20 in dues to help pay for musical scores, etc.

The group rehearses at 6:30pm on Thursday evenings at Provincetown's United Methodist Church on Shank Painter Road in Provincetown.  It is hoped that everyone will be able to attend at least 10 of the 13 rehearsals.

The first rehearsal is: Thursday, SEPTEMBER  11th.
