Cape Cod Chapter of the ABWA Announces New Board and Committee Chairs

American Business Women's Association Announces New Board and Committee Chairs

HYANNIS - The Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is pleased to announce its board and committee members for the year running from August 2008 through July 2009.

ABWA Chapter President Denise Dever from Sandwich is owner of Home Instead Senior Care, a company supporting seniors, allowing them to continue to live at home. This is Denise's second year as President.

Cindy A. Nuzzolo, Esq, from S. Yarmouth is the ABWA Vice-President and an attorney with the law firm of Wilkins and DeYoung in Hyannis. 

Jane Bourette from Dennis is the Treasurer. She specializes in financial retirement planning with Drake, Saunders & Diwinsky Ltd in S. Orleans, MA.

Lisa Sheehan from East Sandwich is this year's Secretary.  She is a Premier Service Provider/Realtor with Kinlin Grover GMAC Real Estate in Sandwich.

Fundraising Chair Cheryl Sedaker from West Yarmouth runs SeaCheryl Designs, creating custom soft furnishings for homes, offices, patios and boats.

Newsletter Chair Paula Hersey from Marstons Mills is Owner, Penguin Digital Design. Paula is past president of American Business Women's Association. 

JoAnna Watson from SouthYarmouth coordinates the ABWA Meetings and is Education Chair. JoAnna is a French Teacher at Mattacheese Middle School and a Lia sophia jewelry advisor, Fitness enthusiast and active member and support of the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

Adrienne Bauman from East Falmouth is Programs Chair. She is the Regional Director of the American Heart Association serving Cape Cod, the Islands and Plymouth County.

Karen Rowley from West Wareham is the ABWA Membership Chair. She currently works for Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod as Senior Director of Professional Relations. 

Erica Waasdorp from Marstons Mills is Publicity Chair. She is President of A Direct Solution, working with for-profit and nonprofit clients on direct marketing, grant writing and publicity.

ABWA's Mission is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. At ABWA new members are always accepted and welcomed.
