Help 4Cs support the Ultimate Holiday Driver for Safe Harbor

Cape Cod Community College communications students need your help with a good cause

WEST BARNSTABLE - Communications students at Cape Cod Community College are supporting a very important cause this holiday season and they are asking for the community's help.  The Ultimate Holiday Drive will take place on Saturday, December 13th.

The first fifteen people to bring a new toy to Papa Gino's Pizzeria in either Hyannis or Centerville will receive a free Papa Gino's meal.

The toy donations benefit the Safe Harbor shelter.   Safe Harbor houses Cape women and children, that have been victims of domestic violence. They currently are housing 20 families that include 35 children. These families are arriving to Safe Harbor to start fresh, meaning new schools, jobs, and possessions. They are provided the resources to participate in support groups, counseling, housing and job searches.

The goal of the Communication 202 class is to ensure that these 20 families have enough clothing to stay warm and enough gifts to give these children a great Christmas.

The two participating Papa Gino's restaurants are at the Bell Tower Mall on Route 28 in Centerville and the Cape Town (K-Mart) Plaza on Route 132 in Hyannis.
