Cape Cod Chapter of the Red Cross announces 2008 Hero Award Recipients
Recipients to receive recognition at the 7th Annual Heroes Breakfast on March 6th in Hyannis
HYANNIS ? The American Red Cross, Cape Cod and Islands Chapter is announcing its listing of 2008 Heroes. They will be recognized by businesses, community members, friends and family at the 7th Annual Heroes Breakfast, which will be held on March 6th, 2009 at The Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis from 7am to 9 am. Master
of Ceremonies at the breakfast will be Peter Meyer, Publisher of the Cape Cod Times and awards will be presented by members from the community. Judge Joseph Reardon (ret.) is the Honorary Chair.

A committee of 6 members of the community evaluated many nominations received from all over Cape Cod and the Islands. Based upon these nominations, they chose the following Heroes in many different categories. The 2008 Heroes are:
