Osterville hosts its 4th Annual Chocolate Festival Saturday, February 7th
Fun events and activities planned throughout the village
Calling all chocolate lovers! Things are going to get a whole lot sweeter in the Mid-Cape when Osterville hosts its 4th Annual Chocolate Festival Saturday, February 7 from 10am-4pm.
Fun events and activities are planned throughout the village including the following book talk and signings hosted by Books by the Sea:
Book Talk, "Food for Thought" with Ted Clarke, 1pm-2pm
Osterville Village Library, 43 Wianno Ave.
Clarke is the author of Boston Curiosities: A History of Extraordinary Personalities, Portentous Places, and
Singular Events. Historian Ted Clarke of Weymouth will lead us on a short history tour of some of the Bay State's most famous contributions to the culinary world. Learn how Toll House Cookies (Whitman, MA) were invented, why Boston is the Ice Cream Capital of the World, the story behind Marshmallow Fluff (Somerville, MA), and why donuts have holes.
Sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Hastreiter, a pastry chef and author of Triple Chocolate: Three Generations of Chocolate Inspired Cooking and one of this year's judges for the Osterville Chocolate Festival, will sign her cookbooks and offer her gourmet chocolates to sample!
