Cape Cod Melody Tent announces more new shows for the 2009 summer season

Old favorites and new acts to play Hyannis this summer

HYANNIS - The Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis announces more new shows for the 2009 Eastern Bank Summer Concert Series. 

This second announcement of the 2009 summer season features SUSAN TEDESCHI with special guest RYAN SHAW, making his Melody Tent debut, on June 26th; DIANA KRALL on July 2nd; JOE COCKER on July 3rd; TOM JONES on July 26th; An Evening With ABBA THE TOUR on July 30th; THE B-52s on August 1st; KC and the SUNSHINE BAND on August 6th; and the STEVE MILLER BAND on August 28th.

Kaleidoscope Children’s Theatre returns to the Tent this summer with three fairytale musicals:  Snow White, Cinderella, and Goldilocks & the Three Bears.  All shows are Wednesdays at 11 am.

Tickets for these shows are on sale to club members beginning Monday, February 9th.  Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for these shows before the public on-sale date must join either the Gold Circle Club at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis or the Inner Circle Club at the Music Circus in Cohasset. 

For concert updates, or to join the Gold Circle Club, check the Melody Tent web site at www.melodytent.org.  Every seat is within 50 feet of the stage.   Sit closer – it’s just better!

(All shows billed as “An Evening With…” feature two sets by the headliner.  There is no opening act.)
