Falmouth Chamber Citizen of the Year Nomination Forms Now Available
Entries must be received no later than March 9th, 2009
FALMOUTH – The 2009 Citizen of the Year nomination forms are now available at the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. The Outstanding Citizen of the Year should be someone who has made a lasting impact on the Falmouth Community.
Entries may be sent to:

Entries must be received no later than March 9, 2009.
The following criteria should be taken into account when nominations are made:
- Nominees must live in the Town of Falmouth and his/her activities should be centered here.
- Recognition will be given for leadership and performance for work done above and beyond his/her paid profession.
- The individual recognized does not need to be a member of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce.
- There are no requirements or restrictions relating to gender, race, religion or ethnic background.
- The nominee should have participated in a broad scope of activities over the course of more than one year. This is not an award for a single activity no matter how well it was executed.
- The award will not be given posthumously.
The 2009 Citizen of the Year will be announced at the 2009 Annual Dinner, to be held April 9 at the Sea Crest Resort and Conference Center.
