Single Volunteers is ready to help!
S
ingle Volunteers of Cape Cod is getting the word out: If you are a Cape Cod non-profit organization and are planning events for the coming year, we?re ready to help!
SVCC can provide manpower for your events/projects. In its short two-year history, SVCC has provided assistance to the following organizations: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Cape and Islands United Way, MSPCA, Riverview School, YMCA, Alzheimer?s Services of Cape & Islands, Camp Lyndon, The Sampson Fund, The Edward Gorey House, The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, The Salvation Army, and others.
SVCC: Singles meeting singles through volunteerism!
If you represent a non-profit organization that could use a little extra manpower for an event or a specific project, please visit our website and send us the ?Request for Volunteers? form. Our only requirement is that you give us enough lead time to organize our team for your event, and that the event or activity require the assistance of at least six people at one time.
We have assisted with auctions and silent auctions, mailings, golf tournaments, clean-ups, walk-a-thons, and bag-stuffing projects for luncheons and performances. SVCC is a competent group of Cape Codders who are helping to make Cape Cod a better place for all of us.
You can also email any questions to volunteer@svcapecod.net. See what we have done and how we can help you. It?s easy and could result in bigger and better results for your organization!
