WOMR Cuts power while town paints

WOMR to operate at reduced power for three weeks


Mount Gilboa and its water tank on right which needs repainting

WOMR (92.1fm) will be operating at reduced power at times while the Mt. Gilboa water tank in Provincetown is repainted.

The radio stationâ??s antenna is located on top of the tank and the reduced power is necessary to protect workersâ?? health. The job will begin on Tuesday March 29th and take from 2 to 3 weeks to complete. The radio stationâ??s signal will be still be available on the web.

Stay tuned to WOMR and their web site (http://www.womr.org) for the latest info on when the power is reduced and when it will be restored.
