Cape Cod Chapter American Business Women Looking for Scholarship Requests
ABWA to fund three scholarships of $1,500 each
YARMOUTH - The Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is looking for nominations or requests for scholarships. In 2009, the ABWA plans the funding of three scholarships of $1,500 each.
Providing scholarships to support women is a major part of the mission of the American Business Women’s Association. Funds are raised during the monthly business meetings and through various activities during the year.
Women interested in obtaining a scholarship should be Citizens of the United States, residents of Cape Cod and the Islands and have reached at least their second semester in an accredited College, Vocational School or Technical School with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Deadline for submission of applications and required documents is June 1, 2009.
The Scholarship committee will review the submissions and awards are expected to be announced during the August business meeting.
