Joseph M. Rindini

Joseph M. Rindini, 71, of Bridgewater and formerly of Easton and Buzzards Bay Passed away peacefully on March 12,2016 with his loving family by his side. Joe was the loving son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Delvendo) Rindini and grew up in West Roxbury and Roslindale .  He was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1962 where he lettered in baseball, football and track. He joined the US Army in 1962 and proudly served his country by representing his flag on the football field and baseball diamond, playing for the VCore Team in Europe. He was a talented musician and it was also during his service in Europe  that he played the bass in a traveling US Army band, “The Panics”. He would marry Janis C. (Brooks) Rindini on July 17, 1971 and they would raise their children in North Easton. Joe would work in the automobile industry for over fifty years. He owned and operated National Lease Car Exchange and Auto Network.  For the past fourteen years  he worked for Herb Chambers ending his career as a corporate manager.   Joe was an avid golfer at Little Harbor Country Club and loved nothing more than spending time with his pride and joy, his grandchildren.   Joe was a great supporter of youth athletics and was instrumental in starting the Easton Youth Soccer League.   He was the devoted husband of Janis C. Rindini and loving Dad of Robin A. DiFilippo of Bridgewater and Kristin C. Haskell and her husband Mark of Bridgewater. Proud “Papa” of Andrew, Benjamin, Reese, and Owen. Loving brother of Michael and Giovanna Rindini of Pembroke and Maureen Collins of West Roxbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are cordially invited to a funeral home service on Fri, March 18 at 9:30am at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater followed by a burial with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:30am.
