ING Insurance USA has announced the ING Unsung Heroes Awards to recognized K-12 educators who pioneer new methods to improve student learning. Teachers’ projects will be judged on innovative method, creativity and ability to make a positive influence on the children they teacher.

Applications will be accepted from full-time K-12 education professionals from accredited public and private schools. ING will select 100 finalists to receive a $2,000 award. The three top winners will receive an additional $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 award.

With all of the innovative educators Cape Cod Today has met in our coverage of local education, we know there are many teachers on Cape Cod who should consider applying for this recognition program.
