Two assault with intent to murder charges, OUI-2nd offense and OUI top busy holiday period
Falmouth police activity for 12/9/13 to 1/6/14.

During the four-week period of Monday, December 9, 2013 to Monday, January 6, 2014, the officers of the Falmouth Police Department responded to 1754 calls for service (details  were not available for 12/12 and 12/19).

Over the four-week period, there were three reported robberies, 5 reports of identity theft, three reports of shoplifting, 23 larcenies, 20 residential break-ins and 13 motor vehicle/trailer break-ins reported.

There were 21 suspicious vehicles and 13 suspicious people reported as well as 13 acts of vandalism, three tresspassers, 8 threats, 4 reports of harassment, 11 unwanted guests, 13 animal complaints and 16 erratic drivers. Five people reported hearing gunshots. There were nine intoxicated person reports, one of the nine was taken into protective custody and one was arrested on assault charges.

Two people were reported to have passed away. There were three missing persons reported, three suicide threats/attempts, one overdoes, two Section 12 (mental illness) calls and two Section 35 (alcohol/drug) calls.

There were 5 restraining order services, 4 restraining order violations, four assault & battery/assaults, 20 disorderly/disturbances and 22 domestic disturbances.

Officers pulled over 97 motorists, arrested 1, towed 1 and issued citations to 37.

There were 31 arrests:

  • On Saturday, January 4 at 5:35 p.m., Robert A. Lane, 31, of 80 Carl Landi Circle in Falmouth, was arrested during an unwanted guest call on Carriage Shop Road and charged with possession of a Class A substance. He also had to open warrants for his arrest.
  • On Saturday, January 4 at 1:46 a.m., Milteer H. Hendricks, 52, of 389 Main Street in Mashpee, was arrested during a suspicious person call on Carriage Shop Road and charged with possession of a Class B substance and resisting arrest. He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
  • On Thursday, January 2 at 12:28 a.m., Mark Joseph Harnois, 48, of 34 Ellsworth Drive in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious person call at Ellsworth Drive and Seacoast Shores Boulevard on two default arrest warrants.
  • On Wednesday, January 1 at 12:32 p.m., Kyle Thomas Ruta, 24, of 776 Palmer Ave., Apt. Right in Falmouth, was arrested during a domestic disturbance call at that address and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and malicious injury to real or personal property.
  • On Wednesday, January 1 at 4:46 a.m., Joshua N. Cobb, 26, of 108 Fordham Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding arrest warrant.
  • On Tuesday, December 31 at 10:59 a.m., Brendan Conley Nee, 32, of 15 Cottage Lane, Apt. 4 in Quincy, was arrested during a warrant service on Ter Heun Drive on an outstanding arrest warrant. Both Nee and Gill (see below) were suspects in a Boston armed robbery.
  • On Tuesday, December 31 at 10:33 a.m., Jillian T. Gill, 22, of 121 Queen Street in Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding arrest warrant. Both Gill and Nee (see above) were suspects in a Boston armed robbery.
  • On Saturday, December 28 at 2:27 p.m., Anthony James Gilmette, 26, of 36 Barrows Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Old Barnstable Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.
  • On Saturday, December 28 at 1:20 a.m., Robert J. Zine, 59, of 203 Seacoast Shores Boulevard in East Falmouth, was arrested during a domestic disturbance call at that address and charged with simple domestic assault and battery and domestic assault with a dangerous weapon. Zine also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
  • On Friday, December 27 at 9:47 p.m., Nicole Natalie Silva, 34, of 57 Sandwich Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding warrant.
  • On Friday, December 27 at 6:35 a.m., Ryan J. Calvert, 26, of 179 Sandwich Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding arrest warrant.
  • On Thursday, December 26 at 5:14 p.m., Courtney E. Campeau, 35, of 121 Queen Street in Falmouth, was placed under arrest during an intoxicated person call at that address and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
  • On Tuesday, December 24 at 5:08 a.m., Kayla A. Pina, 19, of 38 Marshall Drive in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway on an outstanding warrant.
  • On Monday, December 23 at 5:29 a.m., Dale Patrick Fader, 62, homeless, was arrested during a suspicious person call on North Falmouth Highway on an outstanding arrest warrant.
  • On Sunday, December 22 at 12:42 p.m., Michael Anthony Geggatt, 23, of 25 Glenwood Ave., Apt. 2 in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious person call on Teaticket Highway and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Geggatt also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
  • On Sunday, December 22 at 10:33 a.m., Danielle M. Hazleton, 31, of 550 Teaticket Highway, Apt. 302 in East Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding arrest warrant.
  • On Saturday, December 21 at 9:13 a.m., Patrick G. Doyle, 35, of 108 Gansett Road in Woods Hole and Marki Mae Matchem, 23, of 21 Columbus Drive in East Falmouth, were arrested on Teaticket Highway, both on outstanding arrest warrants.
  • On Friday, December 20 at 10:31 p.m., Bruce Hathaway, 47, of 8 Trotting Lane in Teaticket, was arrested during a suspicious vehicle call on Crystal Spring Ave. and charged with OUI liquor.
  • On Friday, December 20 at 3:16 p.m., David Joey Correiro, 41, of 308 Hoophole Road in Mashpee, was arrested at his home following a restraining order violation call on Old Main Street and charged with two counts of abusing a restraining order violation.
  • On Friday, December 20 at 1:57 p.m., Walter R. MacArty, 63, of 4 Chestnut Ave., in Burlington, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident at Maravista Ave. and Menauhant Road and charged with leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI-2nd offense.
  • On Friday, December 20 at 8:24 a.m., Allan Roy Warren, 23, of 105 Redlands Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during an assist other police department at that address on an open warrant.
  • On Thursday, December 19 at 7:01 a.m., Matthew J. Megna, 19, of 79 Tanglewood Drive in Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an outstanding warrant.
  • On Thursday, December 19 at 1:02 a.m., Steven Andrade, 50, of 54 Russell Street in New Bedford, was arrested during a breaking and entering motor vehicle/trailer call on Antlers Shores Drive and charged with two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle/boat at nighttime for a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250 and possession of burglarious instruments.
  • On Thursday, December 19 at 12:05 a.m., Oscar Padilla, 48, of 279 Club Valley Drive in Falmouth, was arrested during a domestic disturbance call at that address and charged with simple assault and battery and assault to murder.
  • On Wednesday, December 18 at 1:25 p.m., Nicholas W. Michaels, 24, of 80 Davis Straits, Apt. E in Falmouth, was arrested during a disturbance/disorderly call at that address and charged with violation of a town bylaw, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • On Saturday, December 14 at 4:53 p.m., Joseph Thomas Pariseau, 32, of 10 Blueberry Lane in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious motor vehicle call on Teaticket Highway and charged with possession of a Class A substance.
  • On Friday, December 13 at 11:49 p.m., Crystal M. Anderson, 29, of 169 Kompass Drive in East Falmouth, was arrested during a domestic disturbance call on Tarpon Road and charged with attempted murder to wit strangulation and intimidating a witness. Anderson was later served with a restraining order at her home the following day and additionally charged with simple assault and battery.
  • On Tuesday, December 10 at 1:05 p.m., Christopher Sullivan, 29, of 438 South Street in Hyannis, was arrested during a robbery call on Dillingham Ave. and charged with larceny over $250, maliciously injuring real or personal property, unarmed robbery and breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the daytime for a felony. Sullivan also had two outstanding arrest warrants. (See Howes and Florence below)
  • On Tuesday, December 10 at 1:05 p.m., Craig Ryan Florence, 21, of 313 Brick Kiln Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a robbery call on Dillingham Ave. and charged with larceny over $250, maliciously injuring real or personal property, unarmed robbery and breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the daytime for a felony.   • On Tuesday, December 10 at 12:01 p.m., Marcus Howes, 45, of 242 Seaward Bend in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious person call on Alphonse Street and charged with larceny over $250, maliciously injuring real or personal property, unarmed robbery and breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the daytime for a felony.
