Kayyem on Cape Cod today

Gubernatorial candidate to hit Wellfleet, Osterville and Falmouth January 15

Democratic gubernatorial Juliette Kayyem will be on Cape Cod Wednesday, January 15. According to Kayyem's South Shore/Cape & Islands Regional Field Organizer Brendan Joyce, the candidate will start her tour of the Cape in Wellfleet at the Wellfleet Preservation Hall at 335 Main Street at 3 p.m.

From Wellfleet, Kayyem will head to the private home of Susan Truitt in Osterville from 5 p.m., then on to the Falmouth Democratic Town Committee meeting at the Gus Canty Recreation Center at 790 Main Street at 7 p.m.

Kayyem is among several Democrats including Attorney General Martha Coakley and State Treasurer Steve Grossman vying for the corner office when Deval Patrick steps down in 2014. In 2013 Governor Patrick announced he would not be pursuing a third term as governor of Massachusetts.
