Cape Cod school snow cancellations and early dismissals start to drip in

Snow expected to fall through the afternoon into the evening across Cape Cod

As the latest storm continues to blanket the Cape fluffy snow, school cancellations and early dismissals are being announced. Read more about the storm itself and the current Winter Weather Advisory in effect here.

Cancellations/Early Dismissals for Monday, February 3, 2014

  • Barnstable Public Schools - All after school activities and after school daycare activities have been canceled. All buildings will be closed.
  • Bourne Public Schools - All afterschool activities including aftercare at the elementary schools has been canceled. All Bourne public schools will be canceled after the elementary dismissal today. Aftercare at both elementary schools is also canceled.
  • Cape Cod Community College - No evening classes or activities Monday night.
  • Dennis-Yarmouth Schools - All afterschool and evening school activities have been canceled. The D-Y Regional School Committee will still hold their FY15 Budget Public Hearing and regular meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Station Ave. Elementary School.
  • Falmouth Public Schools - Dismissal at all Falmouth public schools will be one hour early Monday. Afternoon preschool has been canceled. All afternoon and evening school activities have been canceled. 
  • Mashpee Public Schools - All afterschool activities have been canceled. Tonight's parent meeting will not be held and instead will be rescheduled. The Charter Review Committee Meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m., has been canceled.
  • Monomoy Regional School - Afternoon activities and sports canceled.
  • Nauset Public Schools - All after school and evening activities are canceled. There will be no late buses. Eastham, Orleans and Brewster afterschool daycare providers are staying open for students. Wellfleet's daycare provider is canceling this afternoon.
  • Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School - Evening and afternoon classes are canceled.
