Truro police investigate attempted ATM break

Police seek info from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious

TRURO - Truro police are searching for the suspect(s) who attempted to break into an ATM machine at the Ka-Hur Citgo Station on Route 6 Monday night. According to a Truro police release, officers responded to the gas station on Tuesday and believe the attempted theft occurred sometime during Monday night.

There was considerable damage to the ATM, police said. A criminal investigator from the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office was requested to process the scene.

Truro police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of the ATM machine and vending machines at the gas station Monday night to give them a call at 508-487-8730.
