Cape Cod Tech hosts "tech night" for prospective students

Tour Cape Tech on Thursday, Oct 27th at 6 p.m.

Cape Cod Regional Technical High School is hosting  “Tech Night” for prospective students and their parents on Thursday, Ocotber 27th  at 6pm. Students in 7th and 8th grade from the school’s district towns of Barnstable, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Eastham, Harwich, Mashpee, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet and Yarmouth are invited to attend.

With the rising cost of college, many families consider one of the Cape's vocational technical high schools as a way for their child to graduate with a marketable skill, especially if that student's goal is to work his or her way through college.  The hands-on, career-oriented teaching style of a vo-tech education also appeals to the learning style of some students far more than a traditional high school environment.

"Tech Night" takes on additional significance as many school districts do not permit Cape Tech to recruit in their middle schools during school hours.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school facilities, learn about the new initiatives and cutting-edge technologies at the school, and to hear from Cape Cod Tech graduates, parents, and students about the successes they have achieved through a Cape Cod Tech education.  Cape Cod Tech has one of the highest graduation rates of Cape Cod high schools, and offers a hands-on, competitive learning environment.
