From the Eastham Department of Natural Resources:

Since October 2017, the department has had the pleasure of working with Brian Wagenaar. Brian is an AmeriCorps member placed with Eastham one day a week.

His project for the department was to certify potential vernal pools on conservation property in Eastham.

After 7 months of research, site visits and photo and video evidence, Brian filled out and submitted all the required documentation to the MassWildlife's Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program (NHESP) for five vernal pools.

All five vernal pools were accepted for certification.

Thank you Brian for your hard work and dedication!!
