FREE Podcast Club, Led by Regina McDowell
A podcast is talk radio, but on demand. It's a series of audio episodes focused on a topic or theme that you can subscribe to and listen to whenever you want. Today, podcasts tend to be completely original content. Many escape the shackles of traditional radio formats to explore brilliantly original approaches and completely niche subjects. No matter what your interests, you will find a show that suits you.
By listening to a podcast, you use your brain in a new way, expand memory, practice empathy, and hone your discussion skills-- and you learn a great amount of interesting stuff, and laugh a lot! Our podcast Club allow us to sample many subjects, many ideas, many personalities, and hear some great stories! Come with your snack or beverage, relax in a comfy chair, and join the group. We will create notes and follow up on how to access your favorite shows. The Podcast Club meets in the COA Library, the second Tuesday of the month. Reservations are encouraged, but drop–ins welcome.
