Santa made his annual early appearance from the North Pole at the 4th Annual Independence House Teddy Bear Breakfast hosted by Clancy’s Restaurant in Dennis Port.   The event has grown each year and not a table was empty as children and their families enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and decorating waffle station while they waited for Santa’s arrival.

Donna Giberti, Director of Development and Marketing for Independence House said, “It is a gift in itself to see the awe in the children’s faces and the excitement this event brings to them. State Representative Tim Whelan is a spectacular Santa who takes the time to chat with each child and they are enamored by him.”

Linda and Bill Zammer have graciously hosted this event each year and the management and staff of Clancy’s Restaurant open their doors out of their normal operating hours for this morning holiday breakfast that benefits Independence House.

Making the event even more special is all children are gifted with a brand new plush teddy bear they pick out and adopt to take home along with a memorable photo with Santa, taken this year by Cape photographer, Russ Price.
