This luncheon is a great chance for us to spend some time with our seniors, many of which we already know from our ongoing Reassurance Program,” said Deputy Chief Adam Bohannon.
“The members of the Eastham Fire Department would like to wish the seniors in our community a very happy, safe, and healthy holiday season and New Year. We would also like to thank the Eastham Council On Aging and the Eastham Police Department for providing this Reassurance Program for our senior community. Yours in Service,” said Kent J. Farrenkopf, Fire Chief.
“We are excited to work with our community partners to be able to provide this event for Eastham’s seniors. It’s the perfect opportunity to serve our age-friendly community in a fun and impactful way,” said Eastham Senior Center Director, Dorothy Burritt.
“For years the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority has taken a particular interest in our growing senior population. We have worked closely with COA’s Cape-wide to learn about the needs of our seniors and promote transportation options for independent living. We are pleased to participate in this Luncheon with donations to offer to seniors in hopes that their holidays will be a little brighter,” said Kristen Boyd, Mobility Manager.
