Upcoming Programs for Kids at Hyannis Public Library

July 26th and July 30th

The Hyannis Public Library, 401 Main Street, has the following programs coming soon:

1. Friday, July 26 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. -  A few players from the Hyannis Harbor Hawks Cape Cod Baseball League team will visit with children and their families and talk about playing baseball and read baseball stories. Get an autograph and bring your phone or camera to have your picture taken with a possible future Major League Baseball. Free and open to the public. 

2. Tuesday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. - Jack's Adventure in Space - Come along with Jack in this out-of-the-world adventure through the solar system! Learn about the origins of the names of the planet Mercury to Neptune, and even the controversial Pluto with the nationally recognized Bright Star Touring Theatre. Learn about the planets' physical features and fun facts about each planet's special path around the sun. This program is part of the library's "A Universe of Stories" Summer Reading Program. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Town of Barnstable's Kirkman Trust Fund.
