Wednesday Morning Update on Cape Tech Brothers Injured in Crash

Noontime update from Cape Tech...

Update at 11:50 a.m.

Another update as of 11:45 a.m. The younger brother is also awake and has had the ventilator removed and is breathing on his own.

Positive progress for both boys continues. Our thoughts and well wishes are working. Please keep them coming.

Initial Story

Upper Cape Regional Technical School has published the following update on the condition of two brothers seriously injured in a Tuesday morning, single-vehicle crash on slippery roads:

An update on the two students injured yesterday in the motor vehicle accident on Tuesday.

They are both in the Pediatric ICU at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Rhode Island. They are still in critical but stable condition, both lightly sedated.

The older brother has opened his eyes and given his family a "thumbs ups" and the younger brother has responded to stimuli.
