Higher-elevation significant icing expected today into tonight for the Berkshires into northern Worcester and northwest Middlesex Counties. Lesser icing across northern CT, northern Providence County in RI into MA (mainly W of I-495). Expect slick roads developing into the morning commute, lingering into this afternoon.

Rain. High near 38. Breezy, with an east wind 14 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tonight
Rain. Temperature rising to around 45 by 4am. Breezy, with an east wind 23 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday
A chance of rain, mainly before 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. South wind 11 to 16 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
