NWS: Showers Moving Out Today, Highs in 50's

Showers and isolated downpours continue this morning. Some may be accompanied by localized very gusty winds of 50-60 mph. Otherwise winds will continue to be gusty across all of southern New England through early afternoon, diminishing by this evening.

Showers and thunderstorms likely before noon, then a slight chance of showers between noon and 1pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 57. Windy, with a southwest wind 23 to 28 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Increasing clouds, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
Monday
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

A chance of showers, mainly after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
