Barnstable, MA - The Cape Youth Orchestra presented their first concert of the season on Saturday, January 18 at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich. Conductor Mark Miller, principal clarinetist of the Cape Symphony, led the ensemble in selections from Handel’s Water Music, Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana, and a triumphant performance of Strauss’ Emperor Waltzes, Op. 437. 

The Youth Orchestra is holding auditions on Saturday, February 8 for students interested in joining the Youth Orchestra for the spring semester. Details are online at capeconservatory.org or by calling the Cape Conservatory at 508.362.2772.
